Large 19th Century Carved Putti

A lovely large 19th century carved wood Putti. I have a collection of these and this is one of a pair we have. These were made to use as a moulds to produce Papier Mache figures. You can see fine cuts on the arms where the knife cut away the Papier Mache figure when dry. A lovely piece of history.
