Beautiful 19th century carved wood Putti. We have a collection of 19th century Papier Mache moulds and this is one of a pair. They are carved wood and were made to be used as moulds to produce Papier Mache figures, You can see fine knife cuts on the arms where the Papier Mache was cut away when dry. A lovely decorative piece of history.
