A lovely early 19th century Spice security box. Circa 1840. With 6 individual spice boxes with original labels. Notice Allspice is spelt Allfpice which dates in to early 19th century. This would have probably been kept in the kitchens of a large house. It would have been kept locked because Spices were so expensive back then.
