18TH CENTURY PRIMITIVE COMB BACK WINDSOR CHAIR

A beautiful primitive 18th century Windsor comb back armchair. Circa 1770. This is a West Country example made from ash and elm. There is a couple of old screws on the back spindle support from an old repair. These could be removed but they are old and look fine so I decided to leave them as they're part of its life. There is a cou[ple of old shrinkage splits on the arm supports which are still solid and just add to its charctor in my opinion.
